mc hyd pump/m interchange

Just got a new-to-me pump of the ol' craiglist(gotta love the intermess). Its of a M tractor. My plan was to re-seal this pump and swap it over to my crawler. My crawler has a 3 piece pump on it, complete with previous brazing repair. an my craiglist find is a 2 piece pump. Has anyone else ever swapped these around? M/Mc engine/hyd stuff the same right?

Two piece pump is on the M prior to serial # 32883.
After that they are 3 pieces.

Drive coupler looks to be the same part #.
Oil lines may be different at the pump.
Many of the early 2 piece pumps were converted to the later 3 piece pump.
