Cylinder Sizes of Model 64 Blade

Post by jackhdn » Mon Dec 07, 2015 9:43 am

Hi Guys,

I've decided to build a power 6-way for my 440 this winter. Can someone tell me the approximate sizes of the hydraulic cylinders on the factory blade? Bore, stroke, and rod diameter.

Thanks very much.

I have one laying out back with one broken rod on one angle cylinder. I will try to get around it with a tape measure. The rod is broken where it is cut down to attach to the blade.

The blade I have has a total of 5 hyd. cylinders. The two main ones (I will call raise) are 2 1/2" x 18" stroke with a 1 1/4" rod and have 4 outside assembly bolts. The two angle cyls. are 2 1/2" x 18" w/1 1/4" rod (the rods are turned down to 7/8" and threaded to go into the end fitting {one on mine is broken there}). The tilt cyl. is 2 1/2" x 8" w/1 1/4" rod. HTH Only the raise cylinders have the outside bolts.
