This grill is from a 52 MC what I believe to be in original condition and paint, but the grill screens are yellow? I've only ever seen them green.
Any thoughts?

I have seen them that people painted them yellow, but you are correct, they should be green.

Hi,
Screens might have come from an Industrial M. Maybe a crawler, maybe a utility or even a standard. The two wheel tractor variants were popular with a mid mount sickle bar mower for roadside work, and many of those were painted yellow.
Or, someone just painted the screens yellow to make a custom two-tone variant. Heck, my M has 420 style yellow stripes on the hood and nose sides just because I wanted to. I happen to like that look.
I had a 1520 at one point, and I yellow striped it, too. And, there was never an official paint job like that. It was all because I happened to have to put some new paint on to cover the rust.
Whenever I get another JD350, I will probably paint it green and yellow striped, too. I did the last one I had. Of course back then, I had a lot more cans of JD Green than I did Yellow.
