front blade offset

Post by rangerstan » Wed Jun 21, 2017 6:10 pm

Hello, I have a 40C with a factory 61 frame and an unattached different brand 6ft blade with no mounting references. Did the 61 blade have an offset to center itself to the tracks or is the front blade centered to the lift frame bracket/front pivot bolt? Thanks,

Stan

Stan,
On the blade on my 40c, the pivot point is centered.

Stan,
Forgot to mention that mine is a model 61 as well. pivot point is center on the blade and frame and the blade is centered in reference to the tracks. Not sure what you referring to when you mentioned an offset.

Thanks, the frame center pivot just looks off center from the tracks when viewing from the front so I was not sure

I have one track assembly off right now. When I get it back together I'll take another look to make sure the pivot point on the frame is centered and let you know. The pivot point on the blade is definitely centered on the blade.
