Best way to get a stuck track adjuster apart is just pump the piston all the way out of the barrel with a grease gun.

Hi,
This sounds like one of those crawlers where you take it all apart until you have just the transmission left. Then: check, clean, repair and replace all the bits in there until it is right. Then: start bolting the rest of the machine to the trans, doing the same on each thing, until you have a reassembled crawler where all works as it should.
It's not a job for the faint of heart.....

I did try to pump the grease with 4 front bolt loose and I have no movement at all, do I need to buy a powered grease gun?
I have room at the front for it to slide, should I remove the bolt and see if it tries to retract at all?
Can it be repaired if frozen or junk at that point?

Members have replied on my track post so I will discuss it further over there.
As far as complete disassembly of the whole machine it's not possible for me now, I don't have the place for it, I have a carport for it now but high winds and sand and rain, not going to attempt it for now until I'm able to get a shop or garage.
I'm doing piece by piece, it has a full size MF backhoe "home made" that paid for itself already.
