Re: 1952 MC crawler
My 40c starter will jam once in a while. I find that if I loosen the nut and tapered bolt that locks the starter in place and then pry the starter away from the flywheel a bit, the bendix will usually come free. Shove the starter back in place, install and tighten the bolt and lock nut and away it goes. Good luck!
have 40c 4 roller crawler, 1927 Ford T Touring car, 1931 Ford A Roadster, 1951 Standard Vanguard Saloon. Never a dull moment!

Re: 1952 MC crawler
Thanks Lavoy,
Still doing hay, and haven't pulled the starter yet.
My friend thats is interested in it has offered to come down and help "tinker" with it.
Just so I know going in....How much for a starter? And I expect also a switch?

Thanks Lavoy,
How about an ignition switch?

Re: 1952 MC crawler
Sorry, misunderstood, thought you meant the switch on the starter.
Ignition switch is $40, no lever.
