10W oil

Post by fundytides » Sat Sep 05, 2026 10:55 am

The owner's manual for my 40c crawler specs 10W oil for the hydraulic system. What's the best source and are there any alternatives. I have tried the local outlets here in Canada as well as TSC in Calais ME but no luck so far. Thanks.

I ran a UTHF meeting the John Deere J20C (Hy Gard spec) in my 430 with now issues. It is nearer to a 20weight engine oil. If you are concerned about extreme cold use the Low Viscosity grade, J20D.

Readily available many places. Nowadays it is called AW32 hydraulic oil. Pretty much every farm fleet store should have lots on hand.
