Hey there,
I pulled the motor out of my 420, when I did the transmission shaft slid out a long way at the same time. I read in one post that it’s ok that this happened. Now I can’t get it engaged in the transmission. So was it supposed to come out? Do I have to disassemble transmission to get it to re engage in what I assume is a splined coupler of some sorts?
Thanks for the help.
Paul

Depends on serial number. Early has a retaining pin, later does not and you just put it back in.
