Lock washers on pad bolts???

Just a comment on those bolt pictures I posted. They are probably Deere ice-bolts, but I don't remember the part #s of all of them.

We used to get special high-headed ice-bolts from Deere and a few other places to install on crawlers run in the winter. We'd usually install a set on every other pad at customer's requests. Kind of like putting studs in snow tires. They worked great when new. If you ever take a sideways ride on a crawler, you'd want them too. Years back all the big companies e.g. Case, AC, Deere, Cat had special winter track bolts available.
