gearmatic winch fairleads

Post by notmeu » Wed Oct 21, 2015 6:20 pm

Hello all, I am getting ready to build a set of fairleads for my 8a winch. Does anyone have a set that could measure the diameter of the rollers? I am going to make my rollers out of solid round steel rod but I never seen a set in person to guess the diameter, I would guess somewhere around 2" - 2-1/2". I know there is a light duty set and heavy duty. I am looking to copy the heavy duty 4 roller fairleads. Thanks in advance for any input!

Howard, I'm about 4 hours east from you. I have seen photos online of the 3 roller fairleads but I can only guess at the actual sizes of the rollers.

Thanks Howard for the measurements. I would of never thought the bottom roller was 6 x 9! Thanks again for your time!
