420c transmission flush
New member here. I recently bought my first crawler and the trans gear oil is milky white. Can I flush it with diesel or kerosene? I mean actually drive it around a little to really clean it out. I was concerned about the clutches.
Either will work, I wouldn't drive it a lot or any heavy load. Clutches are isolated from trans, no harm.

Hi,
If rain can get to it, and the boot is in bad shape, the shifter.
But, this need not happen. Over time, heating and cooling of the days and nights brings in water vapor with the air thru the vent. The vapor gets in, condenses, and stays. Eventually, some milkiness will be seen.
