Just brought home a 1955 JD 40C 4-roller. This appears to be a helpful messageboard and I look forward to learning from and possibly adding to the discussions. As soon as I purchase some manuals, I plan to do some maintenance and restoration. Haven't operated a 40C since I was 11 years old - been a long time waiting :D
