JD 2010 hydraulic line
JD 2010 hydraulic line
I have a old 2010 crawler. The SN is worn off so not sure on the year. I think it's a 1963. The main hydraulic line from the motor on the right side to the back got a leak. A friend wanted to help and it was difficult to take off, so he cut it into several small pieces. I took it to get a hose made, but after paying for a new custom hose it will not fit because of the bigger diameter and the tight spaces. Does anyone know what the name of this line is or a part number? Can I get a replacement factory line? Are the tractor lines the same as the crawler lines?

Hi,
If it helps you, here you can search for the part number.
Simply enter 2010, and then select the crawler.

I believe this is the transmission line. At idle it would be a minimal leak, but when in gear it squirted out. That part is AT16153.
Can anyone provide a link where I might be able to order one?
Found one for $180. That's pretty crazy though.

You have to determine if it is high or low pressure. If it is a high pressure line, it will blow up copper line. Check and see if you have anyone in the area that makes steel line. We have one here called Tubes N Hoses that custom make steel line of all size and configuration.

1/2" type L soft/roll copper is good to 578PSI at 200ºF and 5/8 is good to 508 PSI at 200ºF......max pressure on 2010 trans is 110 PSI.... I be-live that the AT16153 is one of the ones i have made (years ago) out of copper .... JUST make sure that you use TYPE L soft .... TYPE K would be better (lots o luck finding any of that)

Then I wouldn't worry about it for a trans line, easy fix, just plug the end of the tubing as you push it through to keep dirt out.
