Track pads
I have several stamped track pads that I want to use for my MC but the mounting holes are ovaled out from running them lose, any thoughts on how to fix these?

Depends on carriage or hex head bolt style pad. Easiest way is probably to put a washer under the bolt and torque the hell out of it. If you want to take the time, you can weld the washers to the pads.

Stamped snow pads are difficult to non-existent, sorry.
No, you can't overbore, not enough meat in the link, plus that would be a lot of work.

Unless you use it a ton, you aren't going to wear them out.

I think the Lindeman parts manual shows them, but don't have mine near me to check.

Ok, I found my M parts manual and #3 is the snow pad and it lists 12" 28 per track then if you scroll down it says center notch (14 per track)
End notch (14 per track)?
Not sure what this means?

Center and end notch are for very very late MC through 440, not the pads you have.

Hi,
Those are the forged snow pads.
This is where the pads alternate having the high section for 1/3 of the total grouser width in the center, or 2/3 of the total grouser width with the high sections for 1/3 on the inner and 1/3 on the outer ends.
Just to confuse everyone, the description in the parts book is for where the grouser is cut down, aka the notch, not where it is high. That would be more logical, no?
Since they alternate, there are one-half of the total number required per notch type per rail.
Now, the forged snow pads are something I have seen a lot of, given my 420c (and when I had it, my JD350) has those on it.
