Hey Lavoy, have another question concerning the 1010 we have up here. In the service manual it shows a place on the powershaft attachment to fill oil if it needs it. The parts manual show that there are 2 seals in the powershaft. My question is this, if the inside seal is good, then the transmission oil should'nt be leaking out the back of the powershaft even if the rear seal is bad, is this correct or not. I know the rear seal is bad, you can see it leaking, but the way the service manual makes it sound, the oil for the powershaft is seperate from the transmission oil and this dozer does not have a reverser if that makes any difference or not.
