1010 winch - all the same?
Sure no problem- I was mainly resurrecting it for others that may not have read the original threads. There are also some limited uses for an electric winch as indicated in the thread but like Lavoy said it is more for some light log pulling and not for activities like winching out the crawler!Mikeym70 wrote:Thanks for the info - however I don't think electric is the right option for the use I'll have with the winch. Like Lavoy states "it'll be in a bunch of little pieces" if I go that route.

Model 10 winch
Well fellas - I ended up picking up a series/model 10 winch that is complete. It needs some work but is repairable. I think more than anything it just needs the clutch cleaned up and a few new seals.
Is there a service manual out there for these winches?
I was able to get most of what I feel needs tore down apart - but getting it back together properly may be a different story without a manual.
Any help is appreciated!

Re: Model 10 winch
I'm pretty sure I have a model 10 manual in PDF form on my home PC. If you send me a personal message with your email address, ill send it to you. I will be a day or two until I can get to it.

Re: Model 10 winch
Your model 10 manual is on its way, there is a parts email and 2 service manual emails. Enjoy, Tom
