440 crawler replace hydraulic line question

Post by dlang10538 » Sun Jun 12, 2016 3:53 pm

I have a 440 crawler loader. the bucket controls are on top of the right side fender. i have developed a leaking hose. it is the big hose that comes out of the controls, down the back and up to the front along the left side above the belly pan. where does this attach at the front ? will i have to remove the belly pan or the hood to get to the front connection ?

thanks for your help
Duane

There are two hoses going from the control valve to the front one goes to the pump and the larger hose goes to to the hydraulic tank.
Depending on how clever you are with wrenches you may be able to just remove the grill.
nothing crawles like a deere
