There is a 40C, 4roller, green color, being auctioned off near Falmouth, Ky. I was wondering if the final drive housing's will interchange with a 5 roller IC 420? I was also wondering if the tracks were the same pitch? The 40 is all there exept the lift cylinder it was started 20yrs ago and run good at that time according to the old guy that owns it. I was considering buying it for parts, but I'm afraid i might get it home and say, thats just too good of a machine to scrap and end up with another 2 years spare time labor and another 6,000 dollars in it. You know if I got my 420 stuck I'd need something to pull it out with.

It may or may not have the right finals on it, depends on whether it has had 420 finals installed on it at some time in it's life.
40 tracks are different.
