well, that worked.

Tons of snow and my left steering clutch has gone south on me. Almost new too. Right side is fine and done the same way at the same time. No adjustment left.

Hi,

Every time someone gets a Debug Mode error, there is a blank post entered. That pushes the post count up and eventually leads to blank pages. What I do is enter on page one, post one, and scroll down to read whatever posts actually made it.

Hi,

Then, I try for Page 2, and so on, until I hit the No Posts Exist message. Keep posts short. Do not use single or double quotation marks. I have found that both lead to the Debug Mode.

Same as Stan said here

Also when a AN older thread shows up as NEW (with nothing new) I am guessing that someone has tried to post on it and MET MISTER DE-BUG

Stan (and others) try this

keep

the posts small

and go back and edit them

I did this here and so far it has not came up with
DE-BUGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG

GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG

GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG

GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG

GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG

GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG :D :D :D :D :D

LOOKS like you can EDIT the crap out of it and

NOT MEET MISTER DE-BUG

I edited this like 10 times adding more each time :D :D :D

Hi,

Ah! I had not tried the edit trick. That is better than posting one message in 14 short parts.

Hi,

I have tried it.

It works. I posted only the above and submitted it. Then, I came back and entered all the rest via edit.

I also entered a new thread in the Board Messages section detailing how this works around De Bug. Then, I discovered that the Message section has no Edit function!

So, the info on the workaround used the other workaround of multiple short posts.

Well, at least this trick works where we need it most.

Hi,

Now I am getting errors on short posts.....ok figured that out....

Entering it took me to Page 2 by the post count. But, that is due to too many empty posts, one of which is generated by every Debug Mode attempt.

So, I tried to back up to the main page and reenter this thread. Then, I could see my post since it is really on Page 1. I tried editng, but got Debug Mode.

What worked was closing the browser and starting all over again. Then I could edit and save it successfully.

Sigh

not clutches, turned out to be a loose bearing cap on the outside of the clutch shaft. I hope no damage as it was driven for at least an hour that way.
