JD 440 loaders

Post by JD440ICD2006 » Sun Oct 08, 2006 4:04 pm

How many different loaders did JD make for the 440s other than the 831? It is the one with the double knuckle near the driver? It looks to be more heavy duty than the other one I commonly see.

As far as factory loaders, 91 and 831. 91 was basically the same as a 90, but mounted on a 440.

Lavoy,

Thanks for that info. What are the differences or advantages to the 91 versus the 831 loaders?

831 has a heavier lift capacity, and substantially heavier breakout capacity.
