If its a Gearmatic I think you can find manuals on line depending on model

Finding manuals on line has been a challenge but i think I found a phone number I will call this week
I have learned a lot reading other old posts this has helped especially the pictures
I could see a snap ring that was invisable on ours

Just wanted to up date we have gotten it mostly apart had many broken bolts and the clutch and Break were welded to the drum The break adjustment nut will not come out I think I will have to cut it It is so rusted I can not tell what it should be Our plan is when the new bearings come we will put the drum back in and put the side covers on then we can use the dozer well we find or make the rest of the parts

Hi:
I think Lavoy has those brake adjustment nuts. If you can take your winch off the machine and go at it on a bench, I think that getting your old adjuster out of its fused situation will be easier. Others may have some thoughts on this too. Good luck. Paul

Adjusters suck when they are stuck. I have new ones on hand, find a tap and clean up the threads once you get it out, that helps tremendously.
