roller grease gun

Post by 1954cooter » Thu Mar 30, 2017 12:04 pm

I got an old pail type grease gun that came with my TD9.I checked the pressure and it only makes 1500 psi. What you guys think about using this with corn head grease for my 420?

Thanks,Cooter

I would use it. My older 350 roll gun had a large diameter piston designed for higher volume-low pressure greasing. Use a gentle approach so as to preserve the roll seals. Good luck. Paul

Hi,

Is it a grease or an oil gun? Oil guns do not have push springs and Corn Head grease is just enough too thick for an oil gun.

Pressure is fine, though.

Seems to work fine with 90wt or regular grease.
