parts

Post by 440icd » Sat Sep 02, 2017 1:19 pm

I put a used pump back on the front of my loader. 440icd loader
Got this old pump from Farmer johns.
I Put it on last night, ran about 5 minutes and its leaking pretty good out the front shaft.
Looks like it need a new seal.

I called around and it looks like kits are not available.
This pump number is 2015F2B1, the john deer part number is AT11372T
I need a front seal and o-rings I would assume.

1. does anyone know where I can get the seal., everyone says no way, long since gone.
looks like part number P46124h and AP22237H, BOTH SEALS.
not happy at all on this.
Thoughts ?

wanted to stay simple with good old pump, but not sure if I'm gona be able to.
the original Cessna NUMBER IS at11608t, but I bet I cant find one.

I'm just a bit disappointed with this seal leaking on this used Hyreco pump.
2. how successful has anyone been trying to fix this seal without a kit?

other options?

new pump ?

thx

I may have a kit, not sure. I have put a few in, had good luck on the ones I did as long as the shaft isn't grooved.

yeS agreed
Lavoy ill take the seal kit

Hi Ralph.
the splines weren't the issue, they looked great.
it is the seal in the front, pump looked ok from the outside.
but I put it on and ran it, its leaking.
I'am not sure how you could tell if that seal is bad unless you have a test bench.
are the internals (that seal) under rated pump pressure when spinning.

seals bad, need replacements

thx
