440icd hydraulic pump

Post by uler3161 » Sat Nov 11, 2017 3:30 pm

So I was just out using my 440icd. Put the blade down, pushed a small pile of firewood. Went to raise the blade and nothing. Controls didn't feel like there was any hydraulic pressure. No leaks. Pulled what I believe is the supply line coming from the pump and fired up the dozer. Only fluid coming out was due to gravity. I'm guessing the pump is shot. Anything else I should look at?

And if the pump is shot, from what I've read it's near impossible to find a replacement and probably not worth rebuilding. Does anyone know of a direct bolt-on replacement? Will a 350 pump fit? I was searching for part numbers and it looked to me like the 350 uses the same splined coupling (T24849 appears to be same as T11751 according to this: https://avspare.com/catalog/deere/2339/33555/110078/). I was hoping if it used the same coupler, the pump might be the same, which I assume is AT31208.

Probably the shaft broke or splines wore out
