I was browsing ebay this morning and ran across the following auction. I didn't think the 1010s had 2 cylinder engines. The seller says he doesn't know what it is. Looking at the dash it tells me its not a 440. But yet having a 2-53 detroit diesel tells me its a 440. So what is it?

It is a 1010, but someone has grafted a 2-53 into it. If the bellhousing bolt pattern is the same, it probably would not be that difficult to do. Kind of a neat deal.

No, it was a 4 cylinder, 350 was a three banger.
