440IC track grease fittings

Post by 440jacques » Wed Mar 13, 2019 11:04 am

I want to grease the track components on my 59 440IC but they all have button head grease fittings. Anyone know what size and adapter I need to use for my grease gun?

I believe the button heads are a low pressure grease system. Do not use your high pressure gun or adaptors. Email Lavoy (this sites proprietor) for the correct low pressure gun. Best regards, Bruce

Dear Mr lavoy, I have a 1960 440ic and am in need of the special low pressure guns and ends too so I too can grease my tracks. I also need the grease gun used for the track tensioner. Are these one in the same? How and where can I buy these? Thank you for running this wonderful web page! Kelly

Just got guns and ends back in stock, I have quite a few button head fittings as well. Yes, you can use the gun for both.
