Starter Removal 1952 MC Crawler

Post by jacksonvine » Thu Jul 25, 2019 3:00 pm

It has been a while since i have removed the starter motor and the fellow who did it has passed away. In looking at it it has one nut with a pointed center in the middle to secure the starter on the driver's right. There does not seem to bee enough room to back the starter out after loosing the nut and backing the point out due to the battery box which seems to fixed. Is there a trick to this? Thanks

Battery box needs to be removed, or at least slid back slightly to give clearance for the starter.
