steering question

Post by rjakes » Mon Sep 30, 2019 8:23 am

New to the crawler world. I just got a MC and when trying to turn left it stops. I'm thinking the right side steering clutches are slipping. Am I thinking correct? It has been sitting for about 2 years. Is there something else I should check Goes straight fine and turns right fine.

Yes, RH clutch is slipping. May be an adjustment, or may be worn out. Look down in the top square hole and see if there is any oil present, if so, the clutch is ruined. You need to find an repair the source of oil as well as the clutch itself. Not a big deal, I have all of the parts on hand.
