Working on my 420 today and I had to reinstall the left side frame. The real trick was getting it low enough in the back to get on to the steering clutch housing and then trying to get it arround the bottom of the bell housing. (It interfears on lower corners of the frame.) My question is what have others done to ease the installation / removal of the side frames??
I ended up loosening the side frame clamps on the other side of the tractor and jacking the tractor up and leaving the undercarraige on the ground. It was still a tight squeeze and I had a refresher in sailor vocabulary.
I'm just curious how others have dealt with this problem.
