Welcome to the board.

First thing, I believe the last 1010 was built in 1965 not 1969. Someone will speak up if I'm wrong on this. If you post you machine's serial number someone will be able to tell you the year.

Is this a machine you have had for a time and it just developed this problem? Or did you just get it in a non-running condition?

Was it running until you changed the points, condenser, wires, and plugs? Have you checked to see that the condenser wire or the point strap did not get grounded during installation?

Start by checking to see if you have 12+ volts to the coil and then power through the coil to the points. If no power at the coil work back from there to the switch, if no power at the switch keep chasing it back.

Is the battery fully charged so the starter is turning it over easily? If you had power at the points and coil, check to see how much the voltage to the coil drops while the engine is being cranked over with the starter. If it drops too much the starter draw may be too high. If the voltage only drops a little, try putting the old condenser back in. There have been many cases in recent years of bad condensers right out of the box, often when using generic aftermarket parts.

Just to add to Jim's procedure, be sure the distributor shaft is turning and the points are opening.
