Need help identifying a dozer

Hello all, I need some help confirming the year and model of a crawler dozer. From looking at pictures and the serial number I believe it’s a 1965 350 dozer. Could someone also please tell me approximately what it’s worth?

1010 gas above 21,000 give or take.

Lavoy, thank you so much. I’m looking at the serial number but I can’t figure out what year it is. I was surprised it is a 1010 and it’s worth more than I expected!

I believe the 1010 part is correct but 21,000 seems way too high. Maybe I 'm not understanding. Around here, 1010s can be bought from 2000 and up.

I think Lavoy's 21,000 was referring to an approximate serial number range not a value. I have seen 1010s priced from $1000 to $5000. What they actually sold for would be the real story. There is a post on the FAQ board with 1010 serial numbers and years. 21,000 would be in the 1961-1962 range.

You posted you were looking at the serial number but couldn't figure out the year. What is the serial number? The number you posted a picture of is only a component casting number, not the serial number. The serial number would be on a tag riveted to the machine. On the 1010s the tags were riveted to the block, on a flat spot, near the engine oil filter. The machine serial number should be preceded by 1010C on the tag. There might also be an A or I with the C to designate Agricultural or Industrial series.

Yeah, sorry, above 21,000 serial number.
As far as value, single hyd machine, pins and bushings look to be shot, no reverser, $1500-$3000.
