Winch Parts

Post by jdharpol49 » Thu Nov 12, 2020 2:19 pm

Just aquired a Braden M3H-10 winch. Was wondering if anyone knew where or if I could find a set of friction disks for it. TIA.

I would suggest an on line search for Braden Winch dealers and call some of them. Braden is a division of Paccar Winches (Braden, Gearmatic, and Carco). You could contact them and see if they can direct you to the nearest dealer to you.

Yes I did that. The dealer is looking into it but didn’t sound very promising. Just thought someone on here might have a different option.

Depending on what type discs these are, maybe you could have your discs relined. Riveted or bonded can be relined, if the discs them selves are good. There are places that do that, here is the first on I hit, don't know anything about them, maybe someone has a "reliner" they have used. http://allfrictions.com/productsservices.html

I’ve dealt with this company in the past. I’ve found them helpful and professional. Good luck. Paul

They are complete fiber disks. No metal to bond or rivet to.
I’ll look into both places. Thanks guys.
