Tach not Work on 420 Crawler

Post by bookman51 » Wed Jan 27, 2021 4:27 pm

I was out yesterday pushing snow with my 1958 420 crawler and my tach started jumping around and finally quit. Before I go troubleshooting it, anybody have a similar experience and know solutions and suggestions for trouble shootings. Thanks in advance.

Usually a busted cable, if not, then the tach puked. I have both in stock.

Lavoy, Thanks, when I get a bit more time and it warms up a bit, I will check it out. Right now the gasket on the front light is bugging me. Do not know why it is not fitting right. Thanks

Larry

Lavoy, Busted cable at the far end where the cable connects onto the metal piece. Sent you a PM via e-mail.

Thanks Larry
