440 reverser
A guy is tring to sell a 440 with a reverser and says that it slips in reverse. Is there a clutch that might need attention is why it's slipping? thanks gregjo1948

Re: 440 reverser
there is adjustment for both clutches in the reverser..forward and reverse..shows in manual...
Re: 440 reverser
They are both adjustable, but another common problem is that the reverser has been shifted without using the foot clutch, and the discs are ruined. Either way, I would tear any used reverser down and check it over before installing it just to be safe.
