Hey Lavoy,
A friend of mine just got himself a 440ic winter project and is wondering if a one-piece center frame off a 420 will work in place of his broken one. His has no reverser if that makes any difference. Probably a silly question but I fiqured to ask the pros.

No, it will not have the mounting holes for dash and battery and such unless it came off of a very late 420.
Center sections are not that hard to come by, so no reason to fight with the wrong part.

Thanks, I'll pass that along to him. I havent had a chance to see it yet but he says his center frame tube had been broken and welded sometime ago. Do you have one for sale? I plan on giving him this web site info anyway and he can talk directly to you.
