Post by E.Huffman » Wed Mar 31, 2021 9:53 am

Does any one know where to get or what forks will fit on a john deere 90 loader (420c)? Thanks

Hello,

I do not have a lead on original forks. But MTL out of GA has some interesting / affordable forks. This you tube post shows a guy putting a large set in a 450C.

Hope this helps, Bruce

Very nice thanks! I should do what he did and put a quick tach plate on my crawler but then I would need to convert my bucket too.

One of my 440ICDs that came with a 831 loader has a pair of forks on it instead of a bucket.

Only the factory attachment is a direct fit, and scarce as hens teeth. Conversion to skid steer quick tach might be best option.

Found these on EBay. Not sure they are original, but seller states the forks came off a 420C. They are inexpensive, buy-it-now price. Hope they work for you and you are near Harrison, Tennessee.

Take care,
Bruce

Do you have a retired, or out of work, relative or friend that needs a road trip you can pay the expenses of? A single axle tilt trailer and com-a-long to drag them on the trailer (provided they are where a trailer can back up to them) would haul those. 7 hours one way, plus loading, could well be an overnight trip. I expect finding a commercial hauler to load and haul to you would be expensive.
