Edited Lavoy was 100% right about pumping the tube adjuster full of grease to pop out the cylinder, mine was just being a bugger lot of dirt caked on it

I usually take a cylinder hone and clean the inside of the barrel up really well before I put them back together. A layer of anti-seize or something on the part of the piston that is inside the seal up to the cup might help it not stick again.
