Hello everyone,
I’m getting closer in getting the wiring done, I make it too complicated, got all the wiring in place. My biggest problem is the ignition switch, it has all these prongs and it looks like a maze! I see IGN, I see BAT I see FL (front lights?)I see TL (tail lights?) anyways all I got on the dozer is those itty bitty lights that light up the instruments on the panel that’s all the lighting I’m having, it’s too complex to me to add more lights, I’m trying to keep it simple, wiring to me has always been my worst enemy. Please keep it simple. The diagram of the ignition switch in the service manual doesn’t say what the connections are.
1.Positive battery wire to starter WITH another wire that goes from battery to ammeter, that stays alone on that side.
2.positive ignition coil wire together WITH a low RPM alternator #1 wire to where on the ignition switch? IGN? Bat?
3. Alternator main wire to other side ammeter
a. Wires from instrument lights go on the other side of ammeter also?
b. Where do all the wires goes on the ignition switch?
Let me know, I’m not starting this thing if it is not hooked up right..
