steering clutch

Post by mmenard » Thu Jun 03, 2021 6:01 am

I have a 1952 MC and am trying to adjust the right side steering clutch. I loosen the lock nut but can't get the lever to slide on the throw out bearing to get the proper free play in the lever. Anybody have any ideas?

You've really posted this in the wrong section, I don't know if someone will see it to move it but you should post it in the early model section it has much more traffic.

Most likely rusted tight, not uncommon. Only fix would be to pull the final and clean everything up.
