2010c 1010c help

Hello I just bought what I was told is a 2010c with no motor I have a 2010 diesel tractor motor that I am putting in it it came with 2 gas motors a ru1010 parts motor and a r2010 parts motor when I was looking for parts some things don't match up with what I know about the 2010 c the shifter is a h style on the dash with a reverser on the opposite side of course there's no markings anywhere on the machine how do I know what I got please help me out

Your post looking for this info should be on the Early Models Board for best exposure. It is likely Lavoy will move this over there when he sees it.

Is the serial number tag still on your crawler? It should be on the right hand side of the block kind of below the rear of the generator. If you don't have the manuals, contact Lavoy by email (postmaster@jdcrawlers.com or call him (phone number on the home page) during central time business hours. He likely has or can get you the proper manuals through his store.

Sounds like an early 1010 to me.

Sorry, I guess I skipped right over that the crawler didn't have an engine. No engine, no serial number, unless they happened to give you the old block. If you want I will PM you an email you can send some pictures to and I will post them for you to help get an ID on it. Post back and let me know.

If its a 1010 look at trans case top left side as u set on machine where it bolts to bell housing serial # should be stamped in it. Text me your cell and I can send pictures of location. 6092092609.
