JD1010 Water pump

can anyone tell me if there is a difference between gas and diesel water pumps on a john deere 1010 crawler? I see some listed on ebay but says for gas only but in manual I Don't see any difference.

Good morning,
The on line parts catalog shows separate pumps for gas and diesel on early serial numbers and one pump for both starting with serial number 21901. So it looks like depending on your serial number the answer could be yes or no.

Good Morning Jim thank you for the reply mine is 15859 so I guess I have the different ones and am looking at a rebuild kit
