1010 reverser parts

Post by roadburner » Thu Jun 17, 2021 4:08 pm

My 1010 pushes great for about a half hour, then it starts slowing down to the point where it can only move it's self forward slowly. Reverse is not effected and works as normal. I'm thinking the front clutch piston seals are bypassing fluid after it warms up and it's not putting pressure on the discs and is slipping. Does this sound possible? Maybe it's just the discs? I've never had a reverser apart, but I'll tear down anything. Where can I find reverser parts? I looked online briefly and couldn't find anything. Any input would be greatly appreciated. BK

Contact Lavoy. He sells parts for JD crawlers and his business provides this site for us to use. Also he has knowledge of the crawlers and he can help you if there is a problem, something a lot(if not most) of the internet sellers can't provide.
