1010c Sprocket Question

Post by fishingbucks » Sun Sep 12, 2021 12:14 pm

Started the process of taking the right final drive off to replace clutch pack. I’ve separated track and lifted right side up. I was ready to take sprocket off but it won’t turn. It’s in neutral. Am I missing something? Can’t get to bottom sprocket bolts with impact because of carriage frame. Should I just remove pinion gear behind quill or can I even do that easily? Suggestions?

Hi,

Do you have the opposite track off the ground so it can spin? Crawlers have no differential so both sides are locked together. You can block the opposite side steering stick back to release that clutch pack.
