John Deere 40c hydraulics

Post by AllenS » Thu Dec 16, 2021 7:50 am

JD40c on Mon May 20, 2013 11:23 pm showed a picture of the hydraulic lines going from the hydraulic control valve to the hydraulic cylinder. That is what I want to do. Where did you get the elbows to go into the control valve? They appear to be regular pipe elbows. Were you able to push the springs down with a regular pipe elbow?

If using regular pipe elbows, you install a 3/4" to 1/2" reducer which keeps pressure on the spring, and then use 1/2" elbows, that is the way Deere recommends.
