Does anyone know the approx. weight of a 440 ?

The johnnypopper site lists the weight at 5850#.

My JD manual for the diesel version states approximately 6300 pounds. If you happen to have an 831 loader on it, here are what the loader options weigh (from JD manual)

Loader (no bucket, no weights, no scarifier) = 2402
Loader (with bucket but no weights, no scarifier) = 3048
Loader (with bucket, 4 weights and scarifier) = 4331
Loader (with bucket and 6 weights, no scarifier) = 4339
