1010 Crawler reverser leak..

Post by DocB » Sun Oct 30, 2022 9:47 am

I found my 1010 reverser leaking oil somewhere hard to see coming down over the final drive housing inside on the right. I found a missing bolt hole which I remedied that is just aft and above the final drive. Hoping maybe that might help today but thought I’d ask here anyway if you all might have an idea where it’s coming from. I’m going to fix the right brake and clutches next and maybe I’ll see where it’s leaking from?? Mean time gotta get some excavating done today before snow and rain flies in a couple days. Will keep vigil on the oil level frequently!

Anything close to the final drive would not be reverser, would have to be final drive or transmission.
