Gearmatic 8a needs Parts and Manual

Marty here. I recently acquired a 1957 Case 310. I know its not a JD but it shares the Gearmatic 8a winch. Its in great shape and with very little work has been building ski trails. I wanted to switch to pulling logs around and was surprised to open the right side of the 8a and find all the clutch components missing and brake band in bad shape. I thought it would be easier to find an old JD with this winch but i am struggling to do so. Does anybody have parts. Lavoy i noticed you did about a year ago. I would post photos but have to learn how. I have also reached out to three sources for a manual but no luck yet. I would love a PDF manual sent to staceynmarty@gmail.com if possible.

Thank you. Paul sent one as well. I have been jibbering with him through email. I am searching your archives for bearing cross references but that is only delaying finding all the clutch and brake guts as mine were not at home when i opened the door.

Tom on here sent me a bearing cross reference once if you still want it.

Last year I posted where to find clutch bands, but they are expensive and want the cores back if you have any.
