Anyone have any insight into installing belt ? It appears belt will not go onto pump pulley because lower mount bracket is in the way .
Does the pulley have to be removed ?

Re: 440 tractor power steering belt
is this a wheeled tractor?
Re: 440 tractor power steering belt
Yes sir
The manuals are no help , I remember cutting the old belt off when tearing tractor apart.

Guessing this is a gas tractor, not a diesel?
I don't know, but I would quicker think the pump gets unbolted from its mount rather than taking the pulley off to change a belt.

I agree but the mount bolts are behind pulley , interesting engineering.

Hi,
Well, there is the Accu-Link belt scheme. I have used those many times in situations such as this. Harbor Freight carries them, of all places.....
