Finally get back on to putting my 440ic back together after pulling the engine to get the clutch un-stuck.
How does the hard line out the front of the tank come off? Is that just a compression type fitting? When I removed it, I disconnect the line at the pump and just lifted the whole thing out. That line is a little loose, and the fitting and collar it is threaded to is spinning. Is the threaded bung/fitting on the tank pressed in or something, and now I've made it loose and its not holding? For reference, I'm talking where line 10, with nut 9 over sleeve 8 attached to the tank. https://partscatalog.deere.com/jdrc/sid ... gId/246327
I'm guessing if that's the case, I might need get it brazed on. I also have a pinhole leak in the bottom of my reservoir, and the tank seam has a slight leak I apparently caused in pulling it as well. Thanks

Re: 440ic hyd reservoir question
Fitting is silver soldered or crimped in, it should not turn.
