1010C Radiator

Post by ChrisP » Tue Aug 29, 2023 6:59 pm

Currently my loader is weeping coolant, so I am looking for a (spare) replacement radiator. My loader is gas with no reverser.

Is the radiator the same between the dozer and the farm tractor? I know the tractor version has a hole through it for the steering.

Guidance here is appreciated.
Thanks

Crawler radiator is unique to the crawler unfortunately.

When I look on the JD website, they have the same part number listed for both the Utility tractor and the Loader Crawler. AT13989 sub for AT12918. PC727 page 34-35 & PC749 page 20-24.
Are the manuals wrong? Am I missing something?
Thanks

I think you jumped a line on the description side. AT13989 is the radiator cap, the radiator part number is AT13096. The manual is likely correct, however that radiator only applies to a few of the 1010 crawlers.

A couple pages further in the parts catalog they show other radiators used on the 1010 series crawlers. First the machine serial number has to be taken into account to determine the right parts page to use. The radiator number you posted is only for crawlers with serial numbers between 10001 and 21900 with no built-in oil cooler. Serial number 21901 and after you need to use following pages of radiators which have the radiators with oil coolers built in them.

What is your serial number? Does it have a reverser? Blower or suction fan? (I reread and see you said no reverser) And just because the part number is listed and you can look at a dealer page and see "available to order", it doesn't mean the part is still actually available.
